Hi Scott, In my original post I mentioned my first experience with this. Yes I have used it and it works very well. You wouldn't even know that there was something going on in the background, it just feels like textedit supports pdf files directly. It's very impressive. The reason the reviews are dated is because the service hasn't been updated since 2007. It's functionality is complete and there is no need to update it, unless a future version of OSX happens to change the API that it uses.
