Hi,
Yes I mean Java, that is turning Java off solved the problem I have on these
2 danish sites
www.dr.dk
www.jp.dk
With Java enabled the pages never really load, but when it is turned off I
have no problems.
For other users it works fine, so it is a similar situation to google.com
that I can use as my startup page in Safari but others report many problems
with google.
Something in the VO/safari combination is not very stable currently, I hope
Apple are aware of what is going on.
As far as I know there are no real java applications on these pages, I can
only describe how I found a solution to the problem.
To make it even more strange, on the Danish Library for the blind, I am
testing downloads of daisy books. In order to get the download to work I had
to enable java. So now I have some services that requires java and other
sites that require I turn java off.

You should not have to disable java for pages to work, this could indicate a
problem with something else. Are you talking about java itself or java
script, they are 2 different things. Many pages use java script, but very
few pages that I know of actually use java, as in a java application.

However if Java is enabled I have other pages that will not work, Safari
just seems to try to load the page without success.
the problem on these pages is solved by disabling java.
Is there a java setting I can change to make java work on all sites, or a
way to enable java on specific sites?
I have no English language pages where I have the problem with java
enabled, and other Danish users have no problems on the pages that I
cannot access with java enabled, very strange!
