haptic technology. that would be a plus. I am not sure than regenerating neural tissue is doable (my eyes have both damaged retinas and damaged optic nerves due to a massive intra-ocular infection). on top of it all, I am cortically blind due to a brain injury a couple decades ago (it was only responsible for 90% of my visual loss). so, in my case, haptic technology would definitely be the better solution.
