Well, I finally got my beloved Washington Post to work again.  For a
recap, I was getting a "scroll area" that was not intractable with
when I went to any articles that were recent. (Perhaps all articles).
I scanned through the "Develop" menu.  This is a menu of tools that no
non-webdeveloper should ever need to use, and the only time I used it
was when faking out the USAJOBS web site to apply to Federal Jobs. I
told that site I was running Firefox, and then it stopped blocking me.

Anyway, that is a different story…  In the Develop menu somehow
"Disable Styles" was checked.  After unchecking that I was able to
have the voice over read what I knew was on the screen.
