The price is really driven up by the solid state hard drive. Those are still very expensive. You also have the build quality. almost every netbook I've come across feels cheap and flimsy. They also use inferior parts. This might not be a big factor to most but, Macs retain their value way better than windows PCs. Just something to think about.
