Actually the latest channel count is up to 66 channels.  the i-blue
737a+ some qstarz models and others have been using the 66 channel
chipsets for quite a while.  I have a Qstarz receiver attached to my
keychain that has 66 channels.

The more channels the faster the acquisition and more sensitive the
receiver is.
