Hi Sarah,

Using the steps that you described, I can locate the menus for other 
applications. This is very handy in general, so thank you. However, in my first 
few attempts, this hasn't worked too well in the case of dropbox. I can find 
the icon but when I press VO shift space, voiceover announces a menu but I get 
no further feedback when I attempt to read the menu. I've tried with the arrow 
keys alone and combined with the VO keys. This works fine with other icons, so 
this is still a great tip. Any idea what I'm missing here?

1. hit ctrl f8.

2. rout mouse to vo with cmd vo f5.

3. lock vo keys with vo semi colon.

4. run your finger at the top of the mouse pad starting at the right and 
working your way to the  left at the top edge.and press f5 repeatedly.

5. once dropbox is under the mouse then vo shift space on it.
