What I did was. I got the earlier version of Skype for september 2009. You can get that at. www.mac.oldapps.com First, Uninstall Skype completely. Move the Skype application to the trash, delete the Skype folder from your /home/library and the relevant Skype entry from the prefferences. Then install that earlier version and logon to Skype. hen update from there.
