ProTools 9 appears to be out. Check out this YouTube video for a quick demo:

the key selling feature of ProTools 9 is that it no longer requires DigiDesign 
approved hardware to work. In fact, it's possible to run it using CoreAudio in 
OS X. So, use your own audio interface or your computer's sound card.

There is no mention of changes to accessibility, but I'm sure Slau and others 
may have news on improvements and the like. If it's at least accessible as 
8.0.4, then I say keep on rocking.
