Hi.  Personally how I like to do gmail filters is to put all the criteria in 
the "has the words" field.  This is mainly because I like to filter on the 
replyto field whenever possible.  
So when I set up my filter for this list, I put 
"replyto:[email protected]" in the has words field.  This is of 
course without the quotes.
Filtering on the replyto field ensures that even if someone sends a message to 
Mac Visionaries with cc, the message will still be filtered correctly.
Not all mailing lists have a replyto filed however.  Apple's automator users 
list for example does not.  In that case, to make my filter I put the following 
in the has the words field.
to:[email protected] OR cc:[email protected]
