Hi Isaac, Actually the joystick on the bc emulates movement of the voiceover keys by default which is not the same thing.
If you want to change it so that the joystick emulates the arrows, do the following. Press control option f8. Press b, or arrow down to braille. VO right to the displays tab and press vo space on it. Tab to the assign commands button and press space bar. Arrow down the table until you get one of the joystick commands. My first one is joystick left so I'll use that one. On yours it tells you joystick left is the move left command. Press space bar and a menu will pop up. Arrow down to braille and press right arrow. Arrow down to map braille key to left arrow key and press enter. Repeat until you have all of the left, right, up, and down joysick positions set to map braille key left, right, up, and down arrows respectively.
