No, pages doesn't do any better about reading tables with voiceover. This is a constant annoyance and until recently, it caused me to start fusion much more than I anticipated.
For several of my classes, the syllabus is provided in a word document. Everything reads fine except for the schedule of assignments. I can open the document in textedit, bean, or pages but voiceover doesn't correctly speak the table with the schedule. So I was booting the virtual machine just to check the schedule twice a week with jaws. Finally I realized a simple solution. I let textedit save the files as web pages. Voiceover reads most of these tables just fine in safari. I still have a couple documents that this didn't help, but I only have to look at those monthly. Still, I join Martin in expressing great interest in a solution to this issue. Justin On Nov 11, 2010, at 9:16 PM, Sarah Alawami wrote: Dies pages work wiht this? I would not know as I don't use the suite but maybe others might be able to answer your question. Good luck.
