Hi Laura,
Safari does support multiple levels of undo, so you can issue Command
+Z more than once, but if you don't get back your deleted bookmarks
folder after trying this, I'm at a loss. You can either undo with the
shortcut key sequence or by navigating to the Edit menu and arrowing
down to the entry that will describe what action you will be undoing
(e.g. "Undo delete bookmark") with your Command+Z.
Do you have your bookmarks folder available on a backup or synced to
an iDevice through MobileMe? The Bookmarks are normally stored in a
Preference file (or "plist") as Bookmarks.plist under the Library/
Safari folder of your user account? Old versions of the file would be
on a Time Machine Backup or a cloned disk in that location. By that I
mean you could open Finder, do Comand-Shift-H to go to your Home
directory, the press Command-Shift-G and either type or paste in:
Library/Safari/
into the dialogue box and then press return. Once your are in the
Library/Safari folder for your user account you would go to
Bookmarks.plist file.
If you have MobileMe and your bookmarks were synced to another device,
you could recover the folder that way. Alternatively, if you visited
the sites that you've deleted you might be able t o examine your
Safari History and recognize the sites in question.
I'm sorry that I don't have a better answer. I tend to use the
keyboard shortcuts myself, so I thought giving Command+Z was the
easiest way to undo a deletion, Maybe I should have told you to go to
the Edit menu on the Safari menu bar and arrow down to the menu entry
for "Undo remove Bookmark" (or Bookmark folder).
Do you have information on the folder somewhere else?
Cheers,
Esther

Esther,
Thank you. I pressed command C rather than command Z so that messed up
the last undue. Is there anything else that I can do to get the
bookmarks back?
Thanks,

Hi Laura,
Try using Command+Z to undo your last action in the Safari Bookmarks
menu. (These are options in the Edit menu of the Safari menu bar:
Command+Z is undo, and Command+Shift+Z will redo, reversing the
undo.) You should be able to undo your delete.
Cheers,
Esther

Hi All,
I pressed the delete key on a folder in my bookmarks which I didn't
mean to do! I went to my trash folder and it is not there. How do I
recover the folder to my bookmarks?
Thanks,
Laura
