there's a nice technique for taking pictures that any blind person can learn. 
just take the digicam and hold the back of it to your forehead and then listen 
for where your target is. if you hold pretty level, you can achieve some pretty 
good shots. at least this is how I do it. I also use a helmet mounted handicam 
when I am out bike riding (tandem or sighted guide solo). I don't know what my 
shots look like. but it seems they are very usable on youtube.
