Uh, The pearl installer script we're r-supposed to run is 0 bytes and does nothing when I run it here. I've experimented with some other things on the disk image but I really think it's either a bug in the tools package, or something has been moved in the vinux system to cause the ubuntoo tools for vmware not to work.
I am pretty sure the vmware tools are for an old version of ubuntoo anyway, that won't help.
