That feature no longer works, remove that account and create a jabber account.
To use jabber your facebook account will need a username, you can assign one in facebook preferences. Then log into facebook via your jabber account on Adium, your username would be your account name @chat.facebook.com and you need to add chat.facebook.com to the server field which you can find under the options tab.
