Hi Sarah: I don't know if youou're working from the website or with your own mail off-line. I found regular trash removal didn't take care of mail. So, I selected all messages in the "trash" mailbox and deleted them. Then went to the finder and did the secure empty trash thing. So far, they haven't come back.:) If, on the other hand you're talking about on gmail itself, I'm at a total loss.:)
