Hi Ann, I have a laptop. I tried the combination of fingers you suggested. I held down all 5 keys. What I heard as I was holding down the keys was the buzzing sound and the startup sound over and over. I finally let go of the keys and the system booted. I never hear what I would consider to be a chime, just the normal startup sound. So I'm guessing this has not worked yet for me?
