Wait a while and try again.  The Apple always says try setting the password 
when the login fails, even if the mail server says I am too busy to handle your 
login, or account locked because  of too many connections to account.

If problem continues for more then 1 hour, and  there is no friendly person to 
call for mail support then try a reboot, I once found this to help.
