Thanks Mike. I have to say, I never would have thought of hitting inter prior to looking in the "go" menu, which I had done without that crucial first step, to no avail. Hitting enter in the Mac environment doesn't often result in anything good, except activating some control you've gotten to with the tab, and since the window I was in wasn't saying anything through vo, it just never occurred to me that pressing enter would actually do something useful. So thanks a lot.
