Hi list, Just wanted to let you know that i downloaded the RC1 of drop box, and apart from getting a permissions warning, thus unabling me to install it, drop box is having some strange behaviors in terms of the memory and CPU usage.
I was creating a symbolic link to my documents folder, and and my macbook's fan started whirring loudly. At first i thought it something else, but i checked activity moitor and saw that apart from taking 58% of CPU usage, it was also eating up half of my RAM, about 4 GB until it cooled down. One more thing to note, out of all the running processes on my mac, drop box is the only one that's still intel and not 64.
