Hi, there should be a dropbox folder in your home folder. Simply copy the file and paste it into your dropbox folder. If you want to make the file public, place it in /home/dropbox/public. Then you can press control option shift m on the file in your public folder and bring up the context menu. Arrow down to dropbox, and press right arrow. Arrow down to copy public link and press enter. Then you can paste the public link anywhere you like.
