Hi, That 5ghz band isn't supported by either ipod touch or iphones.
All other apple products support it. So you will have to switch to either or. Normally you should be able to set it up so as to support both bands, twin 2.5 and 5ghz For all your home units If you have different macs on it. But i'd advise having a cat6 ethernet for your stationary computers and the 2.5 for your mobile devices. Hopefully iphones will actually serve the 5ghz band someday but this might be because of battery consumption For now.
