Hi, So I just called Apple support, which was something less than helpful. (I don't think he had this in his database, so he wasn't sure what to do with me.)
For the past couple weeks, the left front foot on my Macbook Pro (just 26 days out of warranty) started feeling a little mushy, for lack of a better term. Today, it popped right off, and it won't go back on. I feel a litle bit of tacky adhesive where the foot goes, but certainly nothing that will hold anything. So what I asked the Apple guy was, "What kind of glue should I use to re-attach this foot?" He said something like, "Uh, well, yeah, any kind of glue should work, so long as it isn't corrosive, and the inside of the computer isn't visible." OK...that's sort of what I was thinking, but I was hoping for something slightly more specific. So, anyone got any inside dope or insight on this? -- Buddy Brannan, KB5ELV - Erie, PA Phone: (814) 860-3194 or 888-75-BUDDY -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group.
