Hello Adrian,

iWork09 is your best bet for an office package.

Pages can read MS Word documents and export to MS Word. Numbers is compatible
with Excel, and Keynote is reasonably compatible with PowerPoint.

I work as a freelance translator and use Pages all the time. The only problems
I have with it are textboxes, when imported from Word. Pages puts them at the
end of the document, unless they are those weird hidden ones, in which case, it
doesn't see them at all.

It's also messy dealing with tables in Pages documents. VoiceOver doesn't read
the tables within the Pages document, they just show up as highlighted spaces.
However, they can be copied into a Numbers document where they are perfectly
accessible.

I'm hoping that the next release of iWork will fix these problems.

Unfortunately, there are no training materials available for iWork for
VoiceOver users. You just have to ask questions and hope someone else has found
the answers.

Cheers,

Anne
