Hi I have a couple of iTunes annoyances I would like to share, maybe some of
you have encountered the same or have some suggestions or advice.

First of all, I could not find Tina Turner in my playlist browser (why is this
called a playlist browser by VO when in fact it is just a browser to let you
filter by artist genre and album?) and I could not find Tina Turner in my list
of artists. I thought this is very odd so I did a search for Tina Turner and
yes indeed I had albums and tracks by her on compilations too. When I
interacted with the "playlist" browser I could see the genres and also the
albums that featured Tina Turner including her greatest hits (All the best),
but under the artist browser there was no artists but compilations was listed.

So I tried looking at the get info on individual tracks and multiple tracks and
noticed Tina Turner was listed as the artist and the album artist was also
listed as Tina Turner too. So I thought well why the hell are these tracks not
showing up in my browser under her name? I also noticed when selecting
multiple tracks a tick box appears next to artist and album artist, I am not
sure what they do? but I ticked them anyway.

I still had no success and then I looked into the options tab within get info
and saw that the compilations option had been set to yes, so I changed it to
no. Would you believe it? Tina Turner now appears in my artist browser. So
it got me thinking, what other artists are hidden from my browser as they are
listed as compilation instead? What use is this feature if it is going to hide
the artist name from the browser? I always either use search or the browser
when looking for music within my library, as that is how I used to do it when
sighted.

Another annoying bug with iTunes is that VO does not follow the iTunes cursor.
So I have to remember to press control and L to move the iTunes cursor to where
the VO ones is before copying that track to a play list. And when you do press
command + L VO does not read out the track that the iTunes cursor has been
moved to.

I would also like a shortcut key to tell me what track is playing and by who
without having to interact with the LCD window.
