Hi Austin,

GB is fixed in 440 Hz, which seems to be a standard in both Europe and the US
now. The software instruments will have this tuning no matter what you do, but
if you don't use them, and don't use the tuner in GB, you'll still find GB
valuable. Of course, you can use drum or percussion loops or add your own loop,
and totally rely on your acoustic instruments, el-guitar or bass tuned in other
Hz values.

You might check out the tuning application I use on my Mac, it's called
Chromatic Tuner, and you can set tuning parameters in a lot of different ways
for different scales. You'll find it here: www.katsurashareware.com/ . The
developer has added a speech feature, for hands free tuning, and it's fully VO
compatible. (Also check out the ProLevel app from the same developer, it's a
speaking peak meter for as many inputs as you like).

In Logic Pro, you can set the tuning for the whole application, including
software instruments, but as you might know, Logic is not fully accessible with
VO yet.

Hope this helps...

Cheers,
John André
