Hi all, I've been using an IPod touch for the better part of a year and have gotten use to the gestures and the screen size, pluses and minuses, e.g. cramped space versus more easily pinpointed specific locations. I played around a bit with an IPad yesterday and found the big gaps in unoccupied real estate somewhat of a problem. For instance, when in the app store, I was not able to locate the search field to double tap and activate editing. I know right where it is on the IPod and looked around the top of the screen without success on the IPad. Similarly with the address bar to type in a url in Safari. Once you have a page open and want to type in a url, I assumed the address bar would be near the top, but I didn't find it. People have said that browsing on the pad is a much better experience than with the IPod, and it has been demonstrated on podcasts, so I was eager to give it a shot, since IPod web browsing is kind of laborious on complex pages. Any hints on these specifics or more general ones on adjusting up from IPod to IPad will be most apprediated.
