I really didn't intentionally set any labels. I saw and still see that the message is from "me", but it doesn't show up in the labels as "me". I haven't gotten my own messages since I joined the list last spring. Until I switched to pop. Go figure. There could be a number of factors involved. Who knows. IMAP in Google seemed more unstable to me than pop as well.
