Hi Chris: If you plug in your old iPod to iTunes, it will ask you if you want to sync it with the current library, and/or transfer what is on the iPod to your computer. There is also a way to force it to do the transfer. There's a key you can hold down when opening itunes to bring up the sync/transfeer dialog. I unfortunately don't recall which key. But, if you make sure you've checked manually manage music, you shouldn't have any trouble getting that music into the library. If all else fails, you may use the import feature.
