Doing this just now.

1. Insert CD.

2.  If it asks to import tell it no.

3.  Go to the table with the tracks and hit command-a to select all.

4.  Go to Advanced and arrow down to join tracks.

5.  Go back to Advanced and hit create (whatever you have import set to create.)

6.  Let it run.  iTunes will do tha tlittle chime, then the CD will eventually 
stop spinning.  Then eject the CD and go to the next one.  Repeat all these 
steps till the CD is ripped.

Then.

1. Go to the Music library.

2.  Locate the tracks you want to change and do command-i on all of them.  You 
can then make sure the author is set to the correct one and the album title is 
set correctly and that the genre is audio book.

2.  Then go into Audio books and change track information to put them in order.
