Flash sucks. It's memory intensive, proprietary and made by a company that doesn't care about universal design or accessibility. The odd time I've encountered a Flash intensive page, I've managed to find some type of workaround by getting the information from somewhere else or having someone fill me in on what I've missed. I'm not certain Flash has a future on the web, as HTML 5 and other open standards are being adopted quickly.
Having used JAWS on the Windows side with Flash intensive pages, I can certainly say I don't miss the experience, button labels notwithstanding. Perhaps, one day, Flash will be deprecated and coded into the pages of history alongside the Laserdisc, Betamax and 40 meg hard drives.
