I'm having what I call partial crashes. What will sometimes happen is this. I'll be proceeding as normal, and then, Voice OVer will crash in such a way that I hear the voice over sounds but no speech. Nothing will restore it at all; not even control+Option+command+eject. The only solution in such a case is to do a hard reset by pressing the power button until the machine shuts down. Wait for about 20 seconds, then, power back on.
