Hi Kevin, You're perfectly correct about this: on the iPhone TextWriter does not have an initial button for forward delete. I tested the app on an iPad because I knew Mary was trying out her keyboard with her new iPad, but I didn't load TextWriter on an iPhone or iPod Touch at the time I posted my findings. The behavior is the same, but there are only nine buttons on the top row, and there is no forward delete button This also meand that the button placement over letter keys will be different from my description for the iPad in portrait mode. The top row of buttons are also very slightly above the positions of the iPhone's home button when you hold the device in landscape mode.
