Hmm, I know once you hear "ignoring next key press" if I miss a beat or two VO will not ignore the next key strokes. Just practice a bit. Either that or I'm giving you the wrong instructions. As soon as you hear "ignoring next key press" Hold down the control, plus, option, plus command plus eight. Just make sure all four keys are engaged at some point at the same time. Don't lift one key before all four are pressed at the same time. I'm not saying they need to be pressed at exactly the same time but they must all be held at the same time. I usually get the control plus option plus command pressed down quickly followed by the eight. Best of luck. I use this sequence often. I prefer my screen to be white on black but I often switch it back for other family members.
