Dear Listers,

I have just started using TuneIn Radio application on the iPad. Early
indications are that the app worrks quite well - although I am still an
unexperienced iPad user.

One problem I have encountered is when I have created a list of favourite
stations (which the application calls presets), the stations buttons appear in
a horizontal line. Because the box in which they appear is small, there are
only four buttons or so visible on the screen. The sighted user simply drags
the finger horizontally to reveal further stations. I don't know how to
accomplish it with Voiceover. I have tried the pass-through gesture in
Voiceover which is double-tap and hold until a tripple sound is heard and then
I tried to drag my finger along the list as the sighted user would, but it does
not produce any effect. In fact, when I double-tap and hold the screen and then
release it to perform the standard gesture, oftentimes some other link will
have been activated, presumably because I happened to doubl-tap on it.

I was wondering how people accomplish this task of dragging on their iPhones or
iPod touches or iPads.

I have great hopes for this radio app as you can choose any station in the
world to listen to. I have not tried the map screen yet to see whether I can
locate world cities on it without sight but other features are accessible.

Thank you in advance.

Simon
