Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way in Pro Tools. One can move to the name fields within the Mix or Edit windows and Shift-click on the track name but it doesn't always work with voiceOver. It certainly works for sighted users but there's something about the way the mouse sometimes follows the cursor and other times, no matter what you do, it stays up at the Apple menu.
