Thanks for this. I've done some searches on the web, and it would appear that Skype's been improved. I've just downloaded it onto my iPad, and it seems to be working fine. It's very encouraging. I can find my contacts, scroll through them, choose what I want to do with them. The only thing is I can't see their status although I can set my own status to "online, away, busy, etc.". I can call up the feature which allows me to call landlines or mobiels. Skype seems to require portrait mode. I'm really very pleased with it. Unlike facebook Skype seems to care about blind/visually impaired people.
