Hi Ishe, Sarah and a few others reported that there are issues like the one you reported in the installation of the latest version of Dropbox. I think that she handled it by completing the installation from the mounted disk image in the downloads folder. However, an alternative is to pick up the previous version of Dropbox from Rose's Chicks dig macs site: http://chicksdigmacs.net/ You can find the link to "Useful Apps for your Mac". I know that you've gotten through your install, but for others that need to get around the installation issue, you can find the previous version's disk image here. The same goes for people who don't like the arrangement of the current version of Skype -- there's a disk image file of the previous version of Skype at Rose's site.
