Send it to Apple, especially if its still under warranty. The iMac will probably have a compartment that lets you access the ram; perhaps even the harddrive and the airport card, but without looking at the mac in person, I'm fairly sure that you'd be needing to remove the motherboard or logic board in order to really get at the sd card slot.
Taking computers apart can be really fun and theres no reason why a total can't get very good at it, but trust me, you don't want your first take apart to be a iMac.
