Dear Denise, I have had this problem just yesterday at the web site for Human Life Amendment. There was an edit box where you could type in your letter to your congressman. In the same case even though Voice Over announced edit, it was not letting me actually enter text. Let me note that the edit box was situated in a cell of a table. I did get it finally to accept my text. My usual method is to tab into the edit box and then if I cannot immediately type, I try to interact . The next thing I try is the next control command VO-CMD-J. I have no explanation why Voice Over does not let you type in the first instance or when does the situation occur. Perhaps, it is because the edit box is embedded in a table?
I hope this helps. Sincerely Yours, robert Nelson On May 1, 2011, at 7:53 PM, Denise Avant wrote: > Hello all, > I ran into something strange with safari.
