Hi Carolyn, et all, I just wanted to add that there may be *some* video content out there that isn't accessible on an iPad. I've ran into this some lately, and it's for this reason I could never rely on an iPad as my main computer. Hi John: The iPad works using the same operating system as the iPHone. The short answer is yes, it works with voiceover, just as the iPhone does. As far as using it as your personal computer, the only obvious limit I can think of is if you do a lot of word processing. The Pages program is currently not VO accessible on iPad.
