Hi, When you're in your Mail message, simply press cmd-semi-colon, Vo will announce and highlight the misspelled word, press VO-shift-m to bring up the Contextual menu and you'll be given the choices of proper spellings. Pick on then press cmd-semi-colon once more to move on. If rest of the document is OK, VO will just say "Check Document Spelling". Also, if you don't hear any of the correct words in your spelling choices, the word is highlighted so you could simply retype it if you wish.
