Hello, Sarai and all, Log into your Google account, go to mail, and then to "settings." Go to "filters" and if you want your messages not to appear in the Inbox, check the box in each filter that says "skip Inbox" Basically, labels are analogous to Mailboxes on the Mac, and filters are analogous to rules. Once you have the labels/mailboxes set up, you use filters/rules to tell Gmail which mailbox to put the mail into.
