Hi Craig,

A general way to transfer bookmarks (or "favorites" as Internet Explorer calls
these) from any browser is to use the "Export" option in the File menu. You'll
typically save the bookmarks as a file named, for instance, "bookmarks.htm".
Then you use the "Import" option in the File menu of your new browser. To
transfer the bookmarks to a different browser, such as Safari, move the
exported file to your Mac. Then, from Safari, navigate to the menu bar (VO-m),
press "f" to move to the File menu, arrow down, and press "i" to move to the
"Import Bookmarks…" menu option and press Return. In the dialog window that
appears, select the name of your exported favorites file. All the keyboard
shortcuts that you use with Finder should work from the dialog window. So, for
example, if you moved a "bookmarks.htm" file to your Mac Desktop, the shortcut
Command-Shift-D will point your to your Desktop. While, if you moved the file
to your top level home directory, Command-Shift-H will point to that folder,
and you can select the file.

HTH. The default extension for HTML files on the Mac is ".html" instead of the
".htm" used by Internet Explorer.

Cheers,
Esther
