Hello All; -Big week this week, with WWDC and such. Also as you may have noticed, we do in fact have a new moderator. Mark Taylor has already said hello and been kind enough to offer his assistance behind the scenes with moderation of these two lists.
However I did want to make an important note here. There's been some question as to the complete mod team. For the record, Geoff and Carolyn are still in fact moderating these groups as well, so I invite you to continue giving them the kind of courtesy and consideration you all have been known for. they've put a whole lot of time and energy into these two lists in assisting with their smooth running for some time now. So go ahead and take the time to read their notes to the groups when you see them. K? also, do feel free to write them as you have been doing, with any list concerns or questions. I believe that the four of us as active mods will make a great team for these two groups and with your help as list participants, we'll continue to have the very best online resources of info for the Mac, iPhone and Apple products on the web! As for some quick list business, please do remember that as VIPhone and MacVisionaries are very large communities with really active folks making them up, we regularly experience high traffic. Please make your notes count and put more into them than just one line or one word of text. this simply takes up bandwidth and really doesn't contribute meaningfully to a conversation. Please go ahead and really make your notes count. Send emails to the lists, which are worth reading. :) Know what I mean? this is not chat, instant messaging or Twitter. This is email so really show us what you know. :) K? YOu're a smart bunch of people. Let us see that; dazzle us!… :) Also, I invite you to post Apple-related content here. If you have a comment, blog or site which is relevant to Apple or Apple products, then by all means go ahead and post it so you can share it with the groups. If you're not sure, then simply contact either myself, Geoff, Carolyn or Mark and ask us if it's cool to post. Just don't use the lists for non-Apple content or your own personal advertising. Know what I mean? Simply put if it's relevant to Apple than it's pretty much fair game here. if not, then ask us first. K? -And, as always, all questions concerning Apple and Apple-related products are welcome here!… :) Thanks so much to all of you for reading, and for making these lists what they are today! I want you to know that you're a part of the two premier informational resources for visually impaired Mac / iPhone users on the internet! You've made them the best! So let's keep going higher and further, shall we?… Thanks again and have a totally rockin' day / evening wherever you may be!
