Daniel,
I'm afraid you'll have to reinstall your OS. It seems like something in the
software update application got corrupted somehow.
Hope this helps, even though it's not the best solution.

Subject: Software update fails on MacBook

Hello,

Well, this is not strictly related to accessibility, but hope this doesn't
become too off-topic anyway.

I want to run software update on a MacBook running latest SnowLeopard
10.6.7, but the update fails saying "software update ended unexpectedly".
And I can't do the usual check for updates.

I tried repairing the disk permissions and restart the machine, but still
the same result.

Anybody got any hints as to what is happening here?

Thanks a million in advance.

Daniel
