Hi Paul,

To read your current page, press VO+b. (There are actually two options: VO+a
is like the two finger flick all, which reads the entire page; VO+b reads all
from the current position, like a two finger flick down.) There is a complete
iPhone User Guide on your device that you can access under your Safari
Bookmarks, however, I prefer to use the accessible web version of this guide:

http://help.apple.com/iphone/4/voiceover/en/

You can navigate to the link for the section on "Accessibility" and then the
subsection link on "VoiceOver":
http://help.apple.com/iphone/4/voiceover/en/iph3e2e4218.html

There are specific sections here on "Controlling VoiceOver Using an Apple
Wireless Keyboard" and "Entering and Editing Text". If you access any of these
through Safari on your iPhone, you can save a link to that section as an icon
on your iPhone home screen by double tapping the "Utilities" button and
selecting the "Add to Home Screen" option. Then, when you double tap the icon
on your iPhone home screen, you bring up the Safari web page to the linked
sections and can review VoiceOver gestures, Rotor Control, keyboard sequences,
etc. I found this very useful as a way of learning VoiceOver when I first got
my iPod Touch.

You don't identify the type of Bluetooth Keyboard that you have. Some
keyboards don't have the full range of keys that are found with the Apple
Wireless Keyboard. Others have the keys, but in different locations. And
models vary in their layout, so although there have been some podcasts done
about specific keyboards, it's difficult to give a general answer.

However, the best summary keyboard shortcut guide for the iPhone I've found is
the Blog posting by hllf:
http://www.hllf.net/70

Be aware that this does not cover the details of usage with text editing (the
practical use of selection and movement commands), and there are also ways to
type special characters with Option key combinations. The latter work the same
way on the Mac. Some of this material can also be found on the AppleVis web
site under their Guides and Tutorials area.

HTH. Cheers,

Esther
