Yes it is still available from the app store. You do need to have an internet connection if you are running it in Snow Leopard both for recognition and for the original save. However, once you have save the document to the cloud you can go to document management and save it to your computer as RTF, as a large print file, as a Braille file, convert it to a Daisy Book, or as a MP3 file.

I was wondering if docuscan plus is still available? i am going to the nfb convention and would like to demo it on my mac if possible. i do not know if it will even work with my portable cannon scanner. but i thought it was worth a try.

oh, do you have to save your documents in the cloud or can you elect to save them on your hard drive if you want?
