Hi,

Its just a copy and paste job.

Copy the WAV file and open up Garageband.  Make sure you are at the beginning 
of the timeline or, where ever you want to place the track and press command V 
to paste.  Thats all.  Your file is imported into the Garageband project.  
Editing is a lot more involved.  If I tried to write it out, It would take half 
the night.  lol.  I did some tutorials on this though.  Check them out here
